Hope Church Winchester | St Swithun’s School – Lydia & Dan

Lydia and Dan had a beautiful Winter wedding held in the centre of Winchester, at Hope Church.

They had been planning this wedding a little while so they knew exactly where they wanted to get married, and with all their closest family & friends (over 200 people in fact!).

The ceremony was full of colour, tears, singing and praise. It was a gorgeous celebration to their love together and their love to God. It was so moving to watch & be a part of.

After we ventured into the city centre for their pictures – I do love a good stroll through a city with a bride and groom. You always bring joy to people – everyone loves a wedding! 🙂

Soon after we headed off to the reception at St Swithun’s School in Winchester. It was the first wedding ever held there – so they filled it with their own decorations, and even their own handmade marquee, decorated with bunting. It looked lovely!

The speeches were another fun surprise – the best man decided to sing his speech! The song was brilliant and had everyone laughing (myself included!). It was the best speech I’d seen for a while – so hats off to him – it was awesome!

To end the day off with some spark and music, the bride and groom skipped the typical first dance for a cèilidh. It was the perfect end to a fantastic day!

Thank you to Emma for joining me on this one – we made quite the dream team!

And thank you to Dan & Lydia for letting us join in on their celebrations! What a fabulous day it was! Massive congratulations again guys!!
