THE VENUE

Highcliffe Castle in Dorset is one of my favourite places to photograph weddings. With its stunning castle, vast grounds & endless opportunities for photographs. Upon my first time visiting the venue I was in awe of all the possibilities for your Highcliffe Castle wedding.

 

As a Highcliffe Castle Wedding Photographer, I've seen various weddings at the venue in all shapes and sizes! There are hotels and local B&B's nearby so the bridal party can get ready before entering their wedding day.

 

Your wedding ceremony can happen within the castle itself at Highcliffe Castle or you can have this elsewhere and come here for your wedding reception.

 

Canapes and champagne are served out in the gardens in the Summer to make the most of the view. In the Winter you can have these in the castle, which is lovely during the winter months.

 

For the wedding breakfast, you have a choice of two different rooms. One with huge stained glass windows for that wow factor and another for more of a contemporary feel.

 

In the evening there is a dance floor big enough for some live music, a DJ and LOVE letters to be displayed. The wedding cake can be cut either in this room or where you have your wedding breakfast, allowing your evening guests to see that special moment too. There is a good amount of space for your first dance & dancing allowing you to dance well into the night!

 

When the sun sets you get a gorgeous golden glow across Highcliffe Castle, meaning you'll see a lovely golden hour full of colour! If the sun isn't shining on your special day perhaps get a silhouette or rain photograph to finish off the day! Making the most of your Highcliffe Castle Wedding!

We have so many options for wedding photography at Highcliffe Castle. With beautiful gardens, a fantastic driveway, the stunning castle itself & even a beach! The gardens are perfectly kept all year round so are a great backdrop & the beach is full of sand and sea, overlooking Christchurch Bay & the Isle of Wight. Of course, we have the castle which we can use for some castle wedding photography, really capturing the venue in all its grand glory!

 

The rooms for the ceremony & reception are incredible and offer lots of opportunities for adding your style to your special day.

 

I've shot various weddings at the castle so know the best places to go and for your all-important couple photos. A must-have if you want a chilled and relaxed day for your wedding photography.
