Lucy and Craig had created a mid-Summer festival wedding in Three Legged Cross, Wimborne.
They wanted a chilled, fun wedding with all their friends and family having an amazing time. They packed their day full of entertainment to keep up the relaxed and fun atmosphere – it was a blast!
Before the Ceremony
The morning started off at Lucy’s parent’s house. With all the girls getting ready and excitement around the day building.
Lucy had a beautiful ivory dress with lace detailing & a fantastic bouquet mixed with blues, pinks, creams & green.
Just as we were finishing things up, the sun started to come out and then a white Aston Martin pulled into the driveway – the bride’s transport to the ceremony!
All was ready for the grand event!
The Ceremony
Lucy and Craig got married at the breathtaking Wimborne Minster, a beautiful and grand church in the centre of the village.
They had a wonderful ceremony, with some hymns sung and to finish – they walked out to their confetti tunnel.
Afterwards, they organised cakes to be handed out to their guests, whilst soaking up the sunshine and taking advantage of the fantastic grounds too.
We also took their family portraits outside the doorway of the church doors, as well as a few with just the two of them too.
We then set off to their festival feel reception, Lucy and Craig to follow in their Aston Martin.
The Reception
Upon arriving at the reception it was clear how much work and thought had gone into their day.
There were garden games all over the grounds, a bar set up, a marquee, a solo singer creating a wonderful atmosphere & space hoppers.
Lucy and Craig arrived shortly after with a massive cheer from their guests, followed by some drinks at the bar & I captured some candid photos of their guests.
Just before we all grabbed a bite to eat we took a few moments to capture the rest of the group photos and some more couple photos of the two of them.
The setting was perfect, with gorgeous colours, sunshine & my couple just enjoying spending some time together.
We all grabbed some pizza, relaxed on the haybales and soaked up some sunshine. It was bliss!
The Evening Reception
It felt as if the day couldn’t get any better but then came the speeches.
Full of stories, laughter & even Craig the Groom showing off his ‘Malteaser’ trick to all the guests – causing more laughter!
The evening ended with a band playing, everyone joined the dance floor and rocked out to some Oasis and other tracks.
Finally, just as my time was coming to a close the sun started to set over their day and the guests enjoyed a go on the bucking bull! What a treat it was!
