Capturing Olivia and Chris’ wedding at Bradgate Manor, with its stunning grounds in Southampton, was an absolute delight. From my first chat with Olivia and Chris, it was clear they wanted their wedding day to be the perfect blend of chic elegance with a relaxed vibe. The couple filled their wedding day with activities, gorgeous settings, and moments to remember.
Before the Ceremony
The wedding day began with Olivia getting ready surrounded by her bridal party. Her bridal hair was delicately styled to perfection, and her wedding dress was a showstopper! I captured every detail while Chris and his groomsmen shared laughs and prepped for the day. I loved capturing the shots of Olivia with her bridesmaids, all full of excitement and setting an undeniably joyful tone for the rest of the day.
The Ceremony
The ceremony on the grounds of the timeless Bradgate Manor was simply beautiful. With their closest family and friends gathered around, Olivia and Chris exchanged vows in an intimate setting. The candid photos of their loved ones captured the genuine, emotion-filled moments that made the ceremony feel so special and personal.
The Reception
The wedding guests moved from the ceremony to the beautiful outdoor lawn where they were greeted with welcome reception drinks & a saxophone player. Beanbags were scattered across the lawn for their guests. These were a great addition and whilst the younger guests played with the garden games. As the guests chatted, laughed, and soaked up the gorgeous sunshine, I photographed some gorgeous group photographs and took the couple off for some couple portraits.
Evening Celebrations
Personalised stationery, table plans, place cards, and favours were all beautifully coordinated and arranged for a stunning and elegant wedding breakfast. A photo ladder display added a personal touch, while a sweet buffet and dessert table overflowed with treats which were quickly enjoyed by their guests. The wedding breakfast tables had every detail immaculately presented for a stunning aesthetic and chic finish.
The speeches were a highlight of the reception, filled with laughter, heartfelt messages and a tear or two! A particularly delightful moment was when Olivia, a sundae lover, was surprised with her favourite dessert during the speeches. The reactions to this were priceless!
We finished off the day with roasting marshmallows on fire pits – which was an absolute hit & then onto a packed dance floor! What an incredible day it was!
Olivia and Chris’ wedding at Bradgate Manor in Southampton was a true reflection of their personalities, love for their family and friends and their vision of an elegant and romantic wedding. They truly planned a wedding that brought joy and unforgettable memories to everyone around them.
