The Italian Villa | Bournemouth, Dorset | Miranda & Matthew

Miranda & Matthew held their wedding at The Italian Villa in Poole, whilst having their ceremony in central Bournemouth at St Peter’s Church.

I started off the day joining Miranda and the girls getting ready. When I arrived Miranda was very calm and collected, her dress was hung up and beautiful peach and ivory bouquets were sat beside the bed. I started capturing all the little details as the girls had their hair and makeup done. Miranda had also her hair finished while sipping champagne and chatting to all her bridesmaids.

Time soon disappeared as it always seems to do the morning of a wedding. The girls were ready and helping Miranda in her dress. She slipped into her dress with such ease, fitting her like a glove. Her Dad then arrived beaming ear to ear with a very proud look in his eyes.

I headed off to the church to see Miranda and the girls to arrive. Having my second photographer there, Tasha capturing all the guests arriving and Matthew with his groomsmen & best person (his Sister!) too.

I stepped inside the church to prepare for the big entrance and I was stunned. This church is gorgeous!! I have seen a far few in my time of doing this and I must say this one really stuck with me – it was just stunning!

The bridal march started playing and Miranda entered with her bridesmaids following. Matthew looked close to tears but it was such pride that filled his face. He was utterly smitten 🥰

These moments. These are the moments I wish I could grab and put them in a jar. Instead I take LOADS of photos capturing it in pictures so weeks, months, years after you can remember those raw feelings. So magical!

The ceremony was over before we knew it, with beautiful hymns & readings by family too. We all went outside where the sun was beaming still in beach town, Bournemouth. Miranda & Matthew had these gorgeous glows of smiles, it was so heartwarming to see two people so completely made for each other.

Ok, before I get too soppy…

After taking a few family photos at the church we went on to The Italian Villa in Poole. As Miranda & Matthew arrived we surprised them with confetti down the steps into the gardens. It made some super fun pictures, and some very honest ones of some cheeky family members pouring the extra confetti over them!

We enjoyed some time relaxing with friends & family before taking a few couple photos, and then the family shoots. The whole day was very relaxed and chilled – exactly what they wanted. We all got to enjoy the sunshine, the gorgeous venue, some yummy canapes and then of course the amazing food for the wedding breakfast too.

What a fantastic day it was! A day full of their closest family members really being a part of it all. The family church for the wonderful ceremony and even Matthew’s Sister as his ‘Best Person’. It was awesome!

Massive congratulations to you both again. It was such a fun wedding to be a part of, thank you for having me come along to capture it all for you, along with my second Tash! 🙂
