Emma & Harry planned an intimate & cosy wedding in the heart of Winchester. With it being November we knew that the weather could turn but we had no idea it would turn with such force!
The day started with clear skies with the sun even coming out. The guests arrived and still we had sunshine! Emma arrived in a gorgeous vintage car beaming with excitement, I was just as eager to see what dress she had settled on (always love this part!).
Emma stepped out of the car and oh wow – she looked stunning! Knowing that Harry was starting to feel a little nervous I went upstairs and gave him the news that she had arrived. It all seemed very real, he looked very excited!
The ceremony was wonderfully sweet, with their guests so close to all the action. It was very special & intimate.
After the ceremony we headed outside to do the confetti & some pictures. Just as we started the couple photographs the rain started to come in. We grabbed some shelter and soon enough it was a down pour of rain!
Luckily we had an umbrella on us & so we raced across to the venue to get warm & dry.
Once we stepped inside the venue it was exactly what Emma & Harry had planned. A cosy, relaxed venue to really allow them to have the perfect day.
I had a peak upstairs to get some shots of the room before the meal began. The room was wonderfully decorated by Emma’s Mum & it was beautiful! Candles giving that romantic & cosy feel, flowers across the whole table, little details here & there adding a real edge too. Their cake was a ‘cheese’ cake – with tiers of different cheeses, with grapes, chutney & crackers to serve.
After a few speeches, some wonderful (and VERY tasty food!) we had the evening party. This too was super relaxed with a dedicated room for the party & music set up over speakers. Emma & Harry got the party going with their amazing selection of party music.
The day seemed to disappear in a blink of an eye and I had the best time sharing it with them. Thank you for having me join your special day, I really won’t forget it in a hurry!
